Susanna Mitchell Marguerite Daisy (Anthemis)

Susanna Mitchell Marguerite Daisy (Anthemis)

24-30" tall x 24" wide. 'Susanna' lights up the garden with a non-stop display of creamy-white daisies most of the summer. A vigorous, easily grown plant, it has finely textured foliage and lax, mounding stems. Best grown in infertile, well-drained soil without much supplemental irrigation. Pinch or shear stem tips in mid-spring to thicken up the plants. A great companion in front of tall blue-flowered perennials. Caring for Anthemis tinctoria Susanna Mitchell: Cut back to 3 to 4 inches in height in early to mid-spring. To keep blooming, occasional deadheading will help. Fertilize in the fall with organic fertilizer. (Cutting propagated)
