16-18" x 12-15" wide. An improved form of our native Obedient Plant, this summer blooming perennial was bred for its compact habit, long bloom time and self-cleaning flower spikes. It grows in a variety of garden conditions and is an excellent choice for rain gardens and containers. Physostegia virginiana 'Crystal Peak White' won Europe's prestigious Fleuroselect Gold Medal. Cut back to just above ground level in mid-spring. Deadheading during the growing season will extend blooming. Fertilize in fall. Spreading slowly by rhizomes, it can be divided every three to four years.
